Immediate Past President's Message

It has been a great honour and privilege to have served the Indian Commerce Association (ICA) as its President. As I now assume the role of Immediate Past President, I wish to express my sincere gratitude to all Life Members for their trust, cooperation, and continued support throughout my tenure.

The Indian Commerce Association has a distinguished legacy of promoting commerce education, advancing research, and fostering meaningful interaction among academicians, professionals, and policymakers. During my term as President, efforts were made to strengthen this legacy by encouraging academic engagement, inclusiveness, and institutional development, while keeping the Association responsive to emerging challenges in commerce, management, and economic policy.

I firmly believe that the strength of ICA lies in its collective wisdom and active participation of its members. Initiatives undertaken during my tenure focused on enhancing member engagement, promoting mentorship for young academicians and researchers, supporting entrepreneurship, encouraging ethical and sustainable business practices, and leveraging digital technologies to improve communication, knowledge dissemination, and academic outreach.

As the Association moves forward under new leadership, I remain confident that ICA will continue to evolve as a vibrant national academic body and a thought leader in the field of commerce and management. In my role as Immediate Past President, I assure my continued guidance, support, and cooperation to the Executive Council and the newly elected office bearers in achieving the objectives of the Association.

I sincerely thank all members for their encouragement and valuable contributions, and I look forward to ICA's continued growth and impact in the years ahead.
