Please read these terms carefully before using our website or making any payment to ICA India. By using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
These Terms of Service govern your use of www.icaindia.org and all services provided by the Indian Commerce Association (ICA India), with its secretariat at 22 – Vaishali, Pitam Pura, Delhi – 110034. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ICA India.
Membership Terms
•Membership of ICA India is open to commerce educators, researchers, students, and professionals meeting the eligibility criteria as determined by ICA India.
•Life membership is granted upon payment of the prescribed membership fee and approval by the ICA India secretariat.
•Membership is non-transferable and personal to the individual member.
•ICA India reserves the right to reject, suspend, or terminate any membership application or active membership if the applicant/member is found to have provided false information, violated these terms, or engaged in conduct unbecoming of an academic professional.
•Members are entitled to benefits as described on the website, subject to change by ICA India's governing body.
•The membership fee structure is subject to periodic revision by ICA India's Executive Committee.
Payment Terms
•All fees are quoted and charged in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated.
•Payments are processed through secure, RBI-authorised and PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateways. ICA India does not store any card or banking credentials on its servers.
•Payment must be made in full at the time of membership application or conference registration unless otherwise specified.
•A payment receipt and/or tax invoice will be issued by ICA India upon successful completion of your payment.
•All payments are subject to applicable Indian taxes, including GST where applicable.
•In case of payment failure, please do not make a duplicate payment before verifying your transaction status with us at icaindia47@gmail.com.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Important — please read before making a payment
Life Membership Fee
•The ICA India life membership fee is a one-time, non-refundable payment once the membership is approved and confirmed.
•If your application is rejected by ICA India for any reason, the membership fee will be refunded in full within 10–15 working days to the original payment source.
•Requests for refund due to duplicate payments will be processed within 7–10 working days upon verification.
Conference Registration Fee
•Conference registration fees are generally non-refundable once payment is confirmed.
•In the event that ICA India cancels or postpones a conference, registered participants will be entitled to a full refund or the option to transfer their registration to the rescheduled event.
•Cancellation requests received more than 30 days before the conference date may be eligible for a partial refund (50% of the fee paid) at the discretion of ICA India.
•No refund will be issued for cancellations made within 30 days of the conference date.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please email icaindia47@gmail.com with the subject line "Refund Request", including your full name, membership/transaction ID, payment date, and the reason for the refund request. Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment source within 7–15 working days.
User Obligations
•You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information when registering for membership or using any ICA India service.
•You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
•You must not use our website for any unlawful purpose or in a way that violates any applicable Indian law or regulation.
•You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our website, systems, or data.
•You agree not to reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content from www.icaindia.org without prior written permission from ICA India.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Delhi, India. ICA India encourages resolution of disputes through amicable discussion before initiating legal proceedings.
Changes to These Terms
ICA India reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
