Vice President, ICA India

"Sound knowledge, supported by accurate data and rigorous analysis, is the foundation of meaningful economic progress."
The Indian Commerce Association (ICA) has long served as a distinguished national platform for the promotion of scholarship, research, and informed academic dialogue in the fields of commerce, management, and economics. It is both an honour and a responsibility to serve the Association as Vice President and to contribute to its continued academic and institutional growth.
In the contemporary economic environment, characterized by rapid transformation and increasing complexity, effective academic discourse and decision-making must be guided by evidence-based research, data integrity, and analytical rigor. ICA has consistently upheld these principles by encouraging research that is conceptually sound, empirically validated, and relevant to national and global economic realities.
As Vice President, I remain committed to strengthening the research culture of the Association by promoting methodological rigor, responsible use of data, and clarity in academic inquiry. Greater emphasis on data-driven and policy-oriented research will ensure that ICA continues to serve as a credible and influential voice in commerce and management education.
"Academic excellence is achieved through disciplined inquiry, verified facts, and reasoned interpretation."
I encourage all members to actively participate in the academic programmes, conferences, and publications of the Association, and to contribute research that reflects depth of understanding, analytical precision, and scholarly responsibility. Through collective intellectual effort and collaboration, the Indian Commerce Association can continue to guide informed discourse and contribute meaningfully to national development.
With best wishes,
