President's Message

It is with deep humility and a strong sense of responsibility that I assume the office of President of the Indian Commerce Association (ICA). I am grateful to the members of the Association for the trust and confidence reposed in me, and I look forward to serving ICA with commitment, integrity, and dedication.

The Indian Commerce Association has a proud legacy of advancing commerce education, promoting research, and fostering meaningful academic and professional interaction since its establishment in 1947. Over the decades, ICA has emerged as a premier national platform that brings together academicians, researchers, professionals, and policymakers to deliberate on issues of contemporary relevance to commerce, management, and economic development.

As we move forward, the role of the Association becomes even more significant in a rapidly changing economic and business environment. My vision for ICA is to further strengthen its academic foundations, enhance research quality, and expand opportunities for collaboration and knowledge sharing. Emphasis will be placed on inclusive member participation, mentorship of young academicians and researchers, adoption of digital platforms for academic engagement, and promotion of ethical and sustainable business practices.

I firmly believe that the continued growth and relevance of ICA depend on the collective efforts of its members. I therefore invite all Life Members to actively participate in the academic programmes, conferences, publications, and initiatives of the Association. Together, we can reinforce ICA's position as a thought leader and a catalyst for academic excellence and policy-relevant research in commerce and management.

I seek your continued guidance, cooperation, and support as we work collectively to advance the objectives of the Indian Commerce Association and contribute meaningfully to the development of commerce education and research in India.
